The bachelor of applied science (BAS) degrees are designed specifically for students who have earned an associate of applied science degree from an accredited community college. Students can transfer 60 or 75 credit hours toward a bachelor of applied science at ASU.
As a BAS student, you will combine the technical experience from your associate degree with coursework in management, leadership, critical thinking and communications. You can select one of six specialty concentrations: aviation management technology, electronic and energy systems, graphic information technology, Internet and Web development, manufacturing technology and management, and operations management technology.
The Applied Science major on the Polytechnic campus is eligible for the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program. Students from Western states, who select this major and campus, may be eligible for reduced nonresident tuition. See more information and eligibility requirements on the Western Undergraduate Exchange program.
